Memorial Fund 

Our Memorial Fund was established over 50 years ago as a way for members and non-members alike to honor the memory of friends and loved ones who were passionate about birds and avian research, whether their loved one belonged to EBBA or not. The fund also includes the dues we collect from Life Members.

Combined, these donations and dues help us provide research grants to students who are pursuing careers in bird biology or similar fields and are seeking to complete projects related to the study of birds using banding and other field marking techniques. We are grateful for these contributions and for your support in providing opportunities for the next generation of bird banders.

The Eastern Bird Banding Association was established in 1923 and brings together banders across 17 eastern United States and 6 Canadian Provinces to share information, advice, and research.
