Accommodations
North Bay is a thirty minute drive from the nearest motel but accommodations at North Bay are top rate, clean, and comfortable. You have your choice of a hotel type room or an economical bunk in one of the bunk rooms or cabins.
-
THE ERICKSON GUEST HOUSE– $199/night, double occupancy, $156/night single occupancy
- There’s a very limited supply of rooms with King beds and a few more with two twins. The guest house has lovely vistas overlooking the Chesapeake Bay and is convenient to the venues for the meeting and dining. The Council meeting on Friday afternoon will be held in the Guest House lobby. Parking is located a short walk away in front of the dining hall and administration building.
-
THE ROOST HOTEL ROOMS – $149/night, double occupancy, $106/night, single occupancy
- There are a few more hotel type rooms with twin beds in the Roost. Nestled in the woods between the entrance to North Bay and the center of activity it’s secluded, quiet, and homey with guest kitchens and two large lobbys. It’s only a short walk to the venues for the meeting and dining. There’s plenty of convenient parking at the Roost so you can also drive down the hill to the parking lot in front of the dining hall and administration building to attend the meeting functions.
-
CABIN/ROOST BUNK ROOMS – $58 per night.
- If you want to be at the very center of the action a bunk in one of the cabins is the place to be. You can imagine yourself as one of as many as 450 children that attend North Bay during the week for environmental education. Prefer a secluded and quiet location? Then you would find a bunk in the Roost more to your taste. These are typically 16 bunk rooms but we planned for EBBA members to be limited to 8 people per bunk room so everyone gets a lower bunk and can use the upper one to stow additional gear.
-
REGISTER EARLY if you want to have your choice of hotel style rooms
- Don’t worry about a place to rest your head though, there are more than enough bunks for EBBA members. Pick your room type on the registration form. Needs for accessibility will be attended to, simply send an e-mail to Melanie Reichley, First Vice President at mdancer1@gmail.com.
